Hello everyone,

 

My name is Chiel van den Boomen. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, now living in Spain since 2006. The first 5 years in the city of Barcelona, ​​but since 2012 in the beautiful city of Sant Cugat del Vallés. Although I have successfully completed a creative education, I have had a fruitful career as a stage builder, traveling the world, working for top organizations in the music industry such as the Rolling Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, and many others.

However, I never put the pencils aside and have always continued to draw over the years. The experiences that I have acquired in all those years of travel are reflected in my drawings. Due to the creative nature of my working life, it gives me inspiration for my drawings. Since the life of a traveling stage builder is not that common, many of my subjects often are not, either. Many images are distinguished by the very personal character they have. This kind of life is colorful and that's why my work is too.

 

The quality of my work has improved over time. In addition to my work as a stage builder, I am now also busy as an artist, organizing a drawing workshop, teaching courses and selling original works. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information,
