A place to celebrate and bring to life your creativity an imagination!
The workshop's philosophy
In these fast-paced digital times, it is sometimes a relief to hold a brush and pencil in hand and draw a traditional, colorful, imaginative drawing on a white sheet of paper.
Over the years I have developed a personal technique that I tend to call "Realism with a Personal Touch". A strong sense of fantasy, creativity, originality, color and a bit of humor characterize my work. "Don't take life too seriously", that's what I'm trying to convey.
Although I have successfully completed a 4-year training in Advertising and Presentation Techniques, to some extent I consider myself self-taught. The technique I use cannot be learned in school, I have mastered it over the years. This is a combination of watercolor paint and colored pencil, if necessary supplemented very lightly with gouache, liner, and marker. It is expressly not the usual and acceptable watercolor or colored pencil technique one might learn in graphic arts school. This is a completely unique combination of these two different materials.
Whether still lifes, portraits, or fantasy scenes, this technique is ideal for all of these subjects. The combination of watercolor paint and colored pencil creates a very vivid and warm color splendor.
It is now possible to learn the technique using the knowledge of the undersigned. What I can't teach anyone is imagination. What I can do, of course, is help in the process of bringing these imaginary images to life on white paper.
